More Adventures on Gower

Another great week in the welsh sunshine, defiantly a little more damp today but we'll be mostly underground so wont see the worst of it.

Rock Adventure Day on Gower

Rock adventure day on Gower with the visitors from Bristol spending the day Rock Climbing, Abseiling, Caving and Scrambling on the coast near Rhossili. These always make a great day out and are a perfect treat for birthdays, celebrations or even honeymoons...

Classic Rock Challenge

New Year new Challenge - I'm attempting to climb all 83 classic rock routes from Ken Wilson's book over the next 12 months with my fellow mountaineering instructor Tom Moore. We have climbed the first 6 already with another 8 looking to fall the weekend after next. Morocco!

Well I've returned safely from 2 weeks in the Moroccan Anti Atlas mountains. 
 Our team of 4 spent nearly every day climbing extreme routes hundreds of meters long in the African heat. We even had the opportunity to climb new routes on virgin rock, the reward, a new 5 pitch VS 5a in Ice Box Canyon.

The rock was good, the people were lovely and the climbing outstanding. All in all an excellent trip!

Sea level scrambling

So making the most of the sunshine today, I headed down to the Gower coast to explore a new venue for scrambling and sea level traversing with a couple of other instructors. 
 We had a great time and I can wait for the first group to follow in our foot steps.
